Late fees, bond refunds & costs

Refund bonds, charge late fees and record cleaning and repair costs from each booking's Payments tab.

Refund a bond

1. Check Bond collected and Remaining bond.
2. Click the refund bond button, enter the amount and confirm.
3. The refund is processed on the Shopify order, and the bond shows as Partially refunded or fully refunded.

Bookings with no Shopify order can't be refunded from the app. Handle those refunds outside the app.

Charge a late fee

1. Enter the Late fee amount. It starts at your default from Settings → Bookings.
2. Send the customer a late fee reminder, or create a Shopify draft order for the fee to send them.
3. When they pay, tick Late fee has been paid.

Track costs and profit

Under Costs per Product / Item, enter the Cleaning cost, Repair cost and Other cost for each item. The Payment Summary then shows rental income, cleaning fees, delivery and bonds collected, refunds and profit for the booking. Delivery and transaction fees apply once per booking, not per product.
