FAQ
Costume hire questions
Can I hire out several copies of the same costume?
Yes. Set the quantity you own, or use Inventory by Variant to track each size, and the calendar blocks a date only when every unit is booked.
Can customers hire accessories with a costume?
Yes. Import accessories as rental products, choose them in Add-ons → Accessories, and customers can add them on the product page for the same dates.
Can I take bookings at the counter?
Yes. The app adds a Rental booking tile to Shopify POS so staff can create rentals and take payment in store.
Do I need to rent by the day?
No. Offer fixed lengths such as 1, 3 or 7 days with a price for each, or use next business day rentals where the costume is due back the next weekday.
