# Vendor Consignment: review listings and assign products

Use listing review when consignors submit new dresses through the Consignor Portal. Use product assignment when an existing rental product already exists in Shopify.

## Review a consignor listing

1. Open **Vendor Consignment → Listing reviews → Needs review**.
2. Open a listing to inspect its title, brand, product type, condition, sizes, rental duration prices, replacement value, fulfilment mode and description.
3. Check that the listing has at least one suitable product image and that its prices match your rental rules.
4. Approve the listing to create or update the Shopify product, or use **Request changes** and add review notes for the consignor.

Rejected listings are retained in the record history. An approved listing becomes available where publishing is enabled; approval does not bypass your normal storefront review.

## What the consignor submits

From **Add a dress**, the consignor can submit a rent or sell listing with title, brand, description, condition, size, duration prices, fulfilment mode and up to five images. Shipping, pickup, try-on and try-on fee settings can also be supplied. The consignor must save at least one image before **Submit for approval** becomes available.

## Assign an existing rental product

1. Open **Assign products**.
2. Search by dress name or Shopify vendor.
3. Choose the approved **Consignor owner**.
4. Choose **Store managed** or **Consignor managed** fulfilment.
5. Save the assignment and confirm the product appears under assigned rental products.

A Shopify tag in the format `consignor:KEY` can auto-assign a product using the consignor key shown in the **Consignors** tab. Assignments affect future bookings only. Once a dress has been ordered, its consignor cannot be changed or removed.
