# Manually block out dates

Booked dates are blocked automatically. Use manual blocking to make a dress unavailable on other dates, for example when it's away for repairs.

1. In **Rental Products**, click the pencil icon on the dress.
2. Under **Blocked Out Days**, click **Add blocked date**.
3. Choose a **Start date** and, for a range, an **End date**.
4. Under **Apply blocked dates to**, choose **All sizes** or a specific size.
5. Click **Add**, then **Save changes**. Those dates can no longer be selected on the storefront.
